To demonstrate my commitment to my students, I only accept a limited amount of participants for all of my programs to ensure each person gets the time, attention, and support they need and deserve - you will never get lost in the mix of a large overflowing class! Because of this benefit, I require pre-registration and pre-payment for all of my programs - this will reserve your spot in my class. This also demonstrates your commitment to your wellbeing and to our working relationship as teacher and student.

Creativity, Spirituality & Making a Buck workshop and booksigning

Metrowest Yoga

Join Rebecca with her long-time teacher and mentor, David Nichtern, for what's sure to be a fun and lively workshop! Based on David's new multi-tiered book, Creativity, Spirituality & Making a Buck (released by Wisdom Publications Oct 2019), we will individually and together explore our personal life puzzle through the lens of well-being, creative expression, and livelihood. Incorporating meditation practices drawn from the Buddhist tradition, we will learn to develop clarity, precision, and stability as well as a friendly and inquisitive attitude as the ground for transformation and personal evolution.

David will offer his lived, learned experience as an entrepreneur, musician, and Buddhist teacher to help you figure out what "success" means to you then show you how to get there. We will discuss the creative process and principles of business and ethics and explore mindfulness exercises to help you integrate inspiration and aspiration, vocation and avocation - to go from surviving to thriving. Open to anyone, the workshop includes meditation instruction & practice, talk and discussion, as well as individual and group process.

David Nichtern is a four-time Emmy award-winning and two-time Grammy nominated composer-guitarist-producer who has worked with Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Jerry Garcia, Lana Del Rey, Krishna Das, among others, and is also a widely regarded Western Buddhist teacher who teaches how to integrate the creative process with our spiritual practice and livelihood.
